In NYC at the Marriot hotel on a snowy Friday night in December, my job was hosting their annual holiday party.  It was my first year with the company so I felt the need to go and make an appearance.  It was Bernie's moms last year with the company so after years of her asking him to go, he finally gave in and decided to be her date.  He sat there quietly at the table at the party not really talking much when I tried to include him in the topic of conversation at the moment: Who was the best Batman?  He answered Val Kilmer to which I was thoroughly disgusted by, called him an idiot, and then continued my conversation with co-workers with my back turned to him (Seriously, who answers Val Kilmer).  Later that night, after a few drinks and conversations later, I wrote my number down on a dirty bar napkin with a note that said "You're cute! You should call me". The rest is history!!!

Bernie says he knew the minute that he saw me coming up the escalator at that holiday party in my shiny red dress that I was the one.  I didn't realize it until a few months later on the beach in the Bahamas after winning a chugging contest at Senor Frogs (You can see who the romantic mushy one of the relationship is!).  But in the end we both know we are made for eachother and wouldn't want to spend our lives with anyone else!
