We'll start off the day by heading out to Syntagma Square (where most of the famous ancient monuments are located), plus the Parliament Building, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. Next, we'll see the evzones in their picturesque uniforms and the Presidential Mansion on Herod Atticus Street. We'll also make a stop at the Acropolis where we will explore this ancient "high city," topped with marble temples dedicated to the city's goddess Athena and dating back to the Late Bronze Age. During the tour, we will also have the opportunity to visit the Plaka and try some local cuisine like a delicious plate of chicken souvlaki.
