We were 5,000 feet up in the air in a hot air balloon in Egypt. Below us was the Nile River and the Valley of the Kings where King Tut was buried. All I wanted out of this trip was to do this hot air ballon ride that Bernie was terrified of doing because he spent weeks before the trip You-Tubing videos of hot air balloon crashes. I wanted to cross this off my bucket list and couldn't think of a more romantic thing to do with Bernie.  There were 40 people in the balloon and no where to get down on one knee but because of Bernie it was quite possibly the greatest proposal in all of history! Everyone knew it was going to happen but me, who was shocked to see Bernie popping a ring over my shoulder while I tried to take a selfie of the two of us.  I was so confused as to what was going on and didn't take a picture of the proposal and instead started crying and told Bernie "You're an idiot. I love you. YES!" We then landed in the middle of a banana tree field where the locals join us in a ceremonial and traditional Egyptian proposal song and dance.  Nothing will ever top this moment for me!
