Mickey and Taryn met as wild and reckless teenagers in Fort Collins, Colorado where they built a friendship based on fun adventures. Thanks to Facebook, they stayed in touch for 24 years as they each experienced life which included starting their own families. Taryn in Arizona and Mickey in Colorado, they agreed to meet for dinner in November 2022 while Mickey was in town for work. With one look, with one hug, they each were reminded of the profound respect and honor they had for each other. By their third date, they were committed to following their hearts towards a future together. The blending of families, five teenagers and four furry kids, has proven to only multiple the love between Mickey and Taryn. Decades in the making, this unity holds promise, joy and an ever-strengthening love for the journey and adventure of life.
