✈️ Getting to the Island
After arriving at Cancun Airport, you’ll take a taxi to the ferry terminal and then hop on the ferry over to Isla Mujeres. The ferry ride is quick, scenic, and one of the more important parts of the trip to get right.
We recommend purchasing round-trip ferry tickets ahead of time and arriving about 15–30 minutes early for departure to avoid any last-minute stress.

🛺 Getting Around Once You’re There
Isla Mujeres is small, easy to navigate, and full of charm.
• Taxis: Usually waiting right outside Hotel Izla and perfect for quick trips around the island. Most rides between the hotel and downtown are about $10 total.
• Golf Carts: Want to explore? You can rent golf carts directly through the hotel. They typically fit 4–5 people and are a super fun way to see the island together.
